My name is Bradley Pigage and I ride for Shama Cyces. I just recently started riding a Photon and I just wanted to write a quick report from my trip out to California for the Armed Forces National Triathlon Championship (draft legal ITU). The bike performed flawlessly! I am so happy with the way it felt. During the race I was in the chase pack after T1 chasing down the 3 leaders up the road. Working with my other 3 Navy teammates in the the pack we managed to cut down a minute and a half from the leaders, putting me in a good position for the run. I felt absolutely amazing on the Photon throughout the course. It seemed like I was pedaling effortlessly. I had to hold back on occasions so I would not drop my teammates. We made a break on the 3rd of 4 laps to go. My more experienced teammate told me to go to the front and hold the pack while he and another teammate made an attack. I watched as they sped away until they put about 30 yards on the pack. Then I went.. I bridged that gap so quick I was amazed. We had soon put about 20 seconds on the main chase pack just like that. Long story short I ended up running my fastest 10k off the bike that day which put me in 6th place overall. And the sweetest part of all? This year is the year of the World Military Games in Rio De Janeiro, Brazil. And they were taking the top 6 to represent Team USA. So I rounded out that top spot and I head to Brazil in July (with my Photon)! So I just wanted to thank you guys for setting me up with such an amazing bike! I will be praising GURU for a long time. Thanks again! |
